About Rinella Produce
Heritage
We're proud of our heritage and want to tell you some more about Rinella Produce. The Rinella and Lombardo families immigrated from Sicily and Rome, Italy, to the United States more than a century ago in pursuit of the American Dream. After making a stop upon arrival in Manhattan, they moved on and settled in Portland, OR.
Our company was started in 1914 by Frank Rinella, Sr. His son, Frank Rinella, Jr., carried on the tradition. With only one truck at the time, David Rinella took over in the early 1980s for his father. His wife, Cindy, joined him in 1986 when they married.
Today
Rinella Produce remains family-owned-and-operated. Located in the heart of Portland, near Produce Row, we are in one of the oldest existing produce distribution buildings on the West Coast.
Service
Our products include fresh produce, oils, proteins, frozen and canned goods, and much more. We have an expert prep crew on site to cater to your individual needs, whether they are thinly sliced mushrooms for pizza, trimmed green beans for a catering event, or peeled potatoes for home!
You can place an order the night before - give us a call before 9 o'clock - for next-day delivery! Delivery service is available with orders over $100. Individuals and businesses alike are welcome to visit our warehouse and hand-select produce at discounted prices. Orders can be called in and made ready for pickup upon arrival.
